The Train to the Clouds The famous "Train to the Clouds" takes you from the north of the country to the Andes.
The trip seems to go up to heaven, passing along the way small Andean villages and ruins of thousand year old civilizations that have mysteriously disappeared, until reaching the "Viaducto de la Polvorilla" at 4220 meters above sea level in San Antonio de los Cobres.

Las Cataratas del IguazúThere are also thermal springs and baths in the multicolour heaps and valleys of this beautiful region.

The Iguazú Falls in the northern province of Misiones, is another touristic highlight, with 275 cascades falling from a height of 40 up to 80 meters.

In the same province the incredible ruins of San Ignacio and Santa Ana are the last testimony of the great era of the order of Jesuits.
