Academia Nacional del Tango
The National Academy of Tango is one of 18 Academies in Argentina.
Its headquarter is in the historical centre of Buenos Aires, Av.
de Mayo 833, in the same building as the famous and traditional
Café Tortoni.
The library with its collection of full scores and audio is open
to students and interested persons.
Another place is the Centro Cultural Borges. Many Tango shows and
modern Tango concerts take place there.
Centro Educativo del Tango de Buenos Aires
In the Centro Educativo del Tango de Buenos Aires you can study
Tango. There are two careers to follow: the principal part of the
first one is the history of the Tango, the other the dancing of
the Tango. The title at completing is of an instructor of Tango
history or instructor of Tango dancing. The education continues
for three years.
